In 2015, I interned with artist Stavit Allweis, assisting her in her creation of the photo-graphic novel, Isness. The story follows a family who are the last on earth after an apocalyptic war. Unique in its format and dark sense of humor, it emulated the style of 1960s magazine advertisements, while appearing dirtied and worn, as though a physical relic of the war. In my time with Stavit, I contributed layout designs, photo manipulation, spoofed logos, font/image research, and other graphics and illustrations to aid in the construction of her brave and lush fiction.
